STATE OF THE SECTOR
CONSTRUCTIVE 2022
The Registered Master Builders 2022
State of the Sector survey is live. We would greatly appreciate your views on the key issues and opportunities facing the building and construction sector.
Housing and building continue to dominate news headlines and political agendas. The issues are well versed – the real focus must now be how to address them. Constructive brings together the wider sector, and Government to move beyond words and into practical actions for change.
With housing the debate often begins with the question of what is a decent home? And how can we prioritise the many competing demands? Quality homes, emissions reduction, healthy homes, modern living, affordability, and the effects of climate change are all important dimensions but more often than not, one dimension is highlighted at the expense of all the others. How do we help the country – from the public all the way to policy-makers – better understand the trade-offs and priorities that we really need, those that will make the biggest difference?
Gaining a greater understanding of the issues from those on the ground is key to ensuring robust discussion and sustainable solutions. Our annual State of the Sector is a vital part of understanding these issues.
The survey should take less than 10 mins to complete.
The survey results will be launched at the Constructive Forum, held August 25-26 in Rotorua. Constructive is an industry led effort to enhance collaboration, build resilience and ensure a vibrant and sustainable future for the industry. Find more information and register for Constructive here.
